Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. However, if you are looking to maximize the biological absorption of its fat-soluble Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K1 components, taking it strictly with or immediately after your largest meal of the day is highly recommended. Do not chew, break, or crush the tablet shell. Maintain a baseline separation of at least 2 to 4 hours if you are concurrently taking iron supplements, antacids, thyroid hormones (levothyroxine), or certain antibiotics (such as quinolones or tetracyclines), as calcium can form insoluble complexes that severely restrict their absorption.
