Hydrocortisone, a mild corticosteroid, suppresses the inflammatory response to rapidly reduce redness, swelling, and intense itching. Fusidic Acid is a potent antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, specifically targeting pathogens like Staphylococcus to stop the infection from spreading. This combination is highly effective for treating infected eczema, dermatitis, or infected insect bites, as it simultaneously clears the underlying infection and provides symptomatic relief. The non-greasy cream base allows for efficient absorption, helping to restore the skin barrier while maintaining a high safety profile for short-term use.
