Apply the gel once daily in the morning to clean, dry, intact skin of the upper arms and shoulders (and/or abdomen, depending on the specific brand's insert guidelines). Use the palm of your hand to spread the gel smoothly in a thin layer; never apply this medication to the scrotum, penis, chest, knees, or broken skin. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after application. Let the gel dry completely for at least 3 to 5 minutes before dressing. Crucially, cover the application site with clothing to prevent secondary transfer, and avoid showering, swimming, or washing the application site for at least 2 to 6 hours post-application to ensure complete systemic absorption.
