Cleanse the affected skin area thoroughly with a mild soap and water, and pat it completely dry before application. Smooth a thin, even layer of the cream over the infected skin and extend it slightly onto the surrounding healthy skin margins, typically rubbing it in gently twice daily (morning and evening) or exactly as directed by your dermatologist. Wash your hands thoroughly immediately after application to prevent spreading the fungus.
