It works through dual action slowing the heart rate and relaxing blood vessel to effectively lower blood pressure and reduce strain on the heart. Take this medicine once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Do not stop taking it suddenly. Common side effects may include dizziness, fatigue, slow heart rate, elevated potassium levels, and swelling of the ankles.
