Deflazacort (6mg)

Dfacort Tablet is a highly effective glucocorticoid corticosteroid designed to treat severe inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune conditions. It suppresses immune system hyperactivity and helps maintain muscle strength in conditions like Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Activates glucocorticoid pathways to suppress overactive immune cells and inflammatory cytokines, safely preserving muscle function in DMD and calming severe systemic inflammation.

Increased appetite and gradual weight gain, Puffy or rounded face (Cushingoid appearance), Increased blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia), Mood or behavior changes (irritability, anxiety, or insomnia), Mild stomach discomfort or indigestion

Take this tablet exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water, preferably with food. If needed, the tablet may be crushed and mixed with applesauce. Do not stop suddenly without your doctor’s advice, and keep a 2-hour gap from antacids.
