A combination expectorant and bronchodilator used to relieve cough associated with mucus and chest congestion in conditions like bronchitis and asthma. It works by loosening and thinning phlegm, making it easier to cough up, while also relaxing the airways for easier breathing. It should be taken with or without food as directed. The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, muscle cramp, headache, skin rash, and increased heart rate.
