Ketoconazole (2%w/w)

An antifungal, medicated soap used to treat skin conditions caused by fungi or yeast, such as dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and tinea versicolor. It works by reducing fungal overgrowth on the skin and relieves redness and irritation. Wet the skin, apply the soap on the affected areas, gently massage, leave it on for a few minutes, and rinse thoroughly. Mild dryness, irritation or burning sensation may occur in some individuals.

Delivers direct, broad-spectrum imidazole action across large body surfaces to eliminate ringworm and tinea versicolor, suppresses intense localized itching, burning, and skin flaking, and restores normal skin pigmentation by clearing yeast colonies.

Localized Skin Dryness or Flaking, Mild Burning or Stinging Sensation Upon Application, Erythema (Skin Redness) or Minor Irritation, Pruritus (Mild Itching), Altered Skin Texture or Mild Peeling, Contact Dermatitis (Rare)

Wet the affected skin areas thoroughly with lukewarm water. Rub the soap gently between your hands to create a rich, thick lather, and apply it generously to the infected parts of the body. Crucially, leave the medicated lather in contact with your skin for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it off completely with water, as this prolonged contact time is absolutely necessary for the ketoconazole to penetrate the skin and kill the fungus. Use the soap daily or as many times per week as explicitly prescribed by your dermatologist, and wash your hands thoroughly after application.
