Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 8 lozenges in a 24-hour period, or exactly as directed by your physician. Allow the lozenge to dissolve entirely without chewing, crushing, or swallowing it whole, as slow dissolution ensures prolonged contact with the inflamed throat tissues. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 15 to 20 minutes after use to prevent washing away the active antiseptic barrier. Do not administer to children under 6 years of age due to choking risks.
