how to use
This medication is intended for oral inhalation only via a specialized dry powder inhaler device (such as a Rotahaler) and must never be swallowed orally. Place the rotacap inside the designated chamber of the device, pierce or detach the capsule shell as directed, breathe out fully away from the inhaler, place the mouthpiece firmly between your lips, and inhale deeply and rapidly. Hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds, remove the device, and breathe out gently. Always rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out after every use to prevent the development of oral thrush or throat hoarseness.
side effects
Dry mouth or throat irritation, Cough or temporary wheezing, Nasopharyngitis or sinus inflammation, Headache or dizziness, Mild muscle tremors or shakiness (due to formoterol), Tachycardia (fast or pounding heartbeat), Urinary retention or difficulty urinating (rare, due to tiotropium), Oral candidiasis (thrush/fungal infection in the mouth)
