Veltam-DFZ Capsule MR is a specialized combination for urological health, primarily used to aid the passage of kidney stones and manage Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). Tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker, relaxes the smooth muscles of the prostate and ureter to decrease resistance to urine flow. Deflazacort, a potent anti-inflammatory corticosteroid, reduces the swelling (edema) in the ureteral wall caused by stones. This dual-action approach widening the passage while relaxing the muscle significantly increases the success rate of stone expulsion and provides rapid relief from urinary urgency and discomfort.
