Allopurinol (300mg)

Take this tablet after a meal, with a full glass of water to reduce the risk of stomach upset and to help prevent kidney stones. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. Initial side effects may include a gout flare, skin rash, or stomach discomfort.
