A refreshing Thai beverage, Thai Iced Tea is a delightful blend of strong brewed tea, spices, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk, topped off with a dash of evaporated milk. It’s a perfect summer drink that combines the bold flavors of spiced tea with creamy sweetness.
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add the Thai tea mix and sugar to the boiling water. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
Reduce the heat and allow the tea to simmer for about 3 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the tea steep for 30 minutes to enhance its flavors.
Strain the tea mix into a pitcher and discard the solids.
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes to the top.
Pour the chilled tea over the ice, leaving some space on top for the evaporated milk.
